Terms of service

Service Overview

By requesting or authorizing any repair service (in-store or mail-in), you agree to these Terms of Service. Services include diagnostics, repairs, part replacements, refurbishments, and technical work on electronic devices.

Repair Authorization

By submitting your device, you authorize Lucky Repairs to:

  • Perform diagnostics, testing, and repair work

  • Open and handle the device as required

  • Install replacement parts (new or refurbished)

You acknowledge:

  • Additional issues may be found after inspection

  • No additional work is done without approval

No response to approval requests may result in your device being processed under the Abandoned Device Policy.

Customer Responsibility

  • Must be 18+ and authorized to approve repairs

  • Back up all data (we are not responsible for data loss)

  • Remove SIM cards, memory cards, and accessories

Mail-In Repair Service

  • You ship your device using your preferred carrier

  • Return shipping is included unless stated otherwise

  • No upfront payment required

Process:

  1. Place your order

  2. Receive shipping instructions via email

  3. We diagnose and repair your device

  4. You receive an invoice

  5. Device ships within 24–48 business hours after payment

If repair is declined or not possible:

  • No labor fee

  • Customer pays return shipping

Turnaround Times

Turnaround times are estimates only and may vary due to:

  • Parts availability

  • Device condition

  • Workload

Delays do not qualify for refunds or discounts.

Shipping Disclaimer

We are not responsible for:

  • Carrier delays

  • Lost or damaged packages

Use secure packaging, tracking, and insurance.

Risk of Repair

By submitting your device, you accept that:

  • Repairs carry inherent risk

  • Devices may become non-functional during or after repair

  • Pre-existing issues may worsen

  • Hidden issues may appear after repair

  • Water resistance and factory seals may be compromised

Lucky Repairs is not responsible for failures related to pre-existing conditions or unforeseen complications.

Prior Repair Attempts / Tampering

Devices previously opened, repaired, or modified may have hidden damage.

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse service, or

  • Charge an additional diagnostic/repair fee

All additional costs require approval before proceeding.

Warranty Policy

Repairs include a limited warranty (30–90 days depending on service) covering the specific repair performed.

Warranty does NOT cover:

  • Physical or accidental damage

  • Liquid damage

  • Power issues

  • Misuse or tampering

  • Unrelated failures

All claims must be inspected and approved by us first.

No Warranty & Contaminated Devices

Do NOT send devices that are:

  • Infested with roaches or pests

  • Contaminated with animal urine or biohazards

We reserve the right to refuse service.

If accepted:

  • Mandatory non-refundable cleaning fee applies

  • No warranty is provided

  • Repair success is not guaranteed

Water-damaged devices are not covered under warranty.

No Refund Policy

All sales are final once work has begun or been completed.

Customers must allow us the opportunity to resolve any issues under warranty.

Abandoned Device Policy

Devices not paid for, claimed, or responded to within 30 days will be considered abandoned.

We reserve the right to:

  • Charge storage fees

  • Dispose, recycle, or resell the device

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Data loss

  • Pre-existing issues

  • Unrelated failures

Liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

Agreement to Terms

By using our services, you confirm that you:

  • Have read and agreed to these Terms

  • Authorize repair under these conditions

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued service use constitutes agreement to the latest version.
